London Flat
I had a period where I was working in television in London and during that time I bought a flat in Battersea. Battersea is best known these days for having the power station, of course, and plenty of yuppie flats on Prince of Wales Drive. Historically it was a very poor borough of London but that has all changed now and it is fairly prosperous.
The location of the flat suited me very well as it was extremely close to Clapham Junction (a railway station) and I could be in the West End, or indeed any part of central London very quickly indeed. The flat was very small. It was a one bedroom flat with a tiny kitchen and a tiny bathroom. I actually rather liked its neatness, but I couldn't return to something that small again I don't think.
